Core 2: This powerful educational tract is designed to equip a Christian for the practice of ministry and is a prerequisite for ordination through Destiny Ministries. It consists of five ministry development courses focused on spiritual development and leadership including:


#20101 Effective Christian Living: This course challenges students to experience the fullness of a life lived in fellowship with a loving and personal God.  All ministry must be an outflow of the minister's walk with God. Henry Blackaby's Experiencing God gives insight on knowing and doing the will of God in life and in ministry.  Seminars will help students discover their gifts, callings, and passions so that they might live the effective Christian life.

#20102 Spiritual Authority: To be the greatest in the kingdom is to be the servant of all.  This course teaches students how to operate in spiritual authority, in submission to leaders and in service to all.God's Armor Bearer focuses on the importance of serving alongside a leader to help fulfill God's vision.  A Tale of Three Kings adds to this theme and provides a case study on brokenness, submission, and authority.  The seminars will aim to present biblical examples and precedents of servant leadership.

#20103 Life in the Spirit: This course encourages students to live a full, Spirit-led life.  Ministers must learn to acutely and intentionally hear the voice of the Lord.  Thus, Seven Keys to Hearing God's Voice guides readers to a place of open communication with heaven.  The seminars will cover a variety of spiritual disciplines such as: prayer, fasting, meditation, and devotion.

#20104 Intro to Christian Ministry: Previous courses have focused on preparing the student for the work of the ministry.  This course begins to provides some of the nuts-and-bolts that students will need to do the work of the ministry.  The Kingdom Focused Leader challenges readers to lead like Christ, who intentionally orchestrated his life and ministry to further the Kingdom of God.  Seminars will biblically define Christian ministry and provide a variety of pragmatic ministry perspectives.
 
#20105 Ministry Management:  The final course of Core 2 offers an in-depth look at organizing and planning a ministry.  Ministry Nuts and Bolts challenges students to discover four foundational ministry concepts: values, mission, vision, and strategy.  Seminars will discussion this four concepts in more detail and help students incorporate them into their lives.
